Good Design Award for the Rado True Square x Tej Chauhan

Three-time winner: with their design collaboration for the Rado True Square x Tej Chauhan the Swiss watchmaker Rado and the British industrial designer Tej Chauhan have definitely hit the bullseye. The watch with the futuristic design in high-tech ceramic has now been honoured with the Good Design Award, its third renowned design prize. The watch has already won the Red Dot Award and Grands Prix du Design Award.

A prizeworthy collaboration: with the Rado True Square x Tej Chauhan, the emotive design language of British industrial designer Tej Chauhan encounters Swiss watchmaker Rado’s proven expertise in materials. The result of this cooperative effort has already been honoured with the renowned Red Dot Award, and has now convinced the international Grand Prix du Design Awards jury as well: the watch has been named “Gold Winner” in the Product Design category.

Singapore GOOD DESIGN Award for the Rado True Square Undigital

he Rado True Square Undigital has convinced design experts from around the world with a concept as humorous as it is clever. The unconventional watch, which Rado created in collaboration with the Japanese design duo YOY, has already won the Good DesignTM Award and the iF Design Award, and has now received the Singapore Good Design Award. 

2021 GREEN GOOD DESIGN™ Award

With her concept for the Rado True Thinline Stillness Lidewij Edelkoort has proven once again to have a seismographic feel for socio-cultural trends. Her idea to express people’s increasing need for sustainability, stillness and clarity in the form of a watch has now been honoured with the Green Good DesignTM Award: the renowned prize was awarded to the first timepiece that Rado and the Dutch trend forecaster have created together. 

GOOD DESIGN™ Award for the Rado True Square Undigital

Rado is delighted to announce that the True Square Undigital has won the renowned GOOD DESIGNTM Award. The watch, which was created in collaboration with the Japanese design duo YOY, quotes two real style icons in a way that is as clever as it is stylish: the classic digital display and the famous square Rado ceramic watch.

Double success for Rado at the iF Design Awards 2021

Elegant, self-confident, resilient – and now award-winning, too: not one but two Rado design collaborations have won the renowned iF Design Award 2021. The True Square YOY and the True Square Formafantasma have thus joined the long list of Rado timepieces whose visionary design has been rewarded with an international award.

Red Dot Award for the True Square x Tej Chauhan

Design has always been a key part of the Rado DNA. The Swiss brand is thus particularly delighted that the True Square x Tej Chauhan has been presented with the Red Dot Award in the Product Design category. The colourful timepiece, the result of a collaboration with industrial designer Tej Chauhan, picks up on the futuristic visions of pop culture with the means of a true “Master of Materials”.

German Design Award 2021 for the True Thinline Les Couleurs™ Le Corbusier
